Tee up for fun with Fargo Parks’ Discover Junior Golf Program, designed for young golfers of all skill levels.
The Discover Junior Golf Instructional Program teaches youth ages 5 - 15 the basics of golf in group lessons with a maximum of 6 to 1 participant-to-instructor ration. The six-week session runs June 9 to July 24, with the week of July 4 off. Participants need at least a golf bag, wood, iron, and putter (unless participating in Level 1 Active Start in which SNAG golf gear is provided).

Discover the Fargo Park District's enriching youth arts programs, providing a vibrant platform for creative expression. Recognizing the crucial role of art in children's development, our programs offer a diverse range of opportunities for young minds to explore and unleash their creativity. From engaging classes to special holiday events and collaborative sessions, Fargo Park District's youth arts programs foster a nurturing environment where every child can flourish as an artist.
This program focuses on teaching both girls and boys the fundamentals of volleyball, teamwork and sportsmanship. Players register on an individual basis only. Teams are formed by the Fargo Park District. Practices and games are approximately one hour. A schedule with the actual dates and times is posted online after teams have been formed.
Children progress through a series of seven levels designed to teach the fundamentals of swimming and encourage aquatic exploration with guided instruction. In doing so, the Fargo Park District works to ensure a high level of competency is acquired by participants in both aquatic safety and swimming skills.
