Explore our youth programs centered on Arts & Culture, designed to foster creative expression and deepen cultural understanding. Through hands-on artistic experiences and cultural exploration, participants discover their voice, build confidence, and expand their perspectives in safe and welcoming spaces.

Programs in this area fall within three categories: Art Expression, Craft & Make, and Culture & Heritage. Together, these experiences encourage creativity, self-expression, and meaningful engagement with diverse artistic and cultural traditions.

Art Expression

Grow your child's creativity! Young artists will explore different media such as drawing, painting, collage and more through creative and fun art projects. Students learn about artistic styles while strengthening existing foundations. Repeat students are encouraged; projects are unique to each series. Classes are offered throughout the year.

Challenge your child's creativity! This combination class offers independent children a sampling of art projects using various media such as drawing, painting, watercolors and pastels. Projects change each series, so students can repeat the class and continue to create and have fun. Classes are held throughout the year.

Create a masterpiece in this parent and child class. Explore different mediums together while enhancing motor skills. Imaginations required for a class filled with painting, drawing, coloring, crafts and projects galore! Adult must attend class with child.

Craft & Make

Ready to thread the needle and start your sewing journey?

Sewing 101 is the perfect class for beginners (ages 10-15 years old) who want to learn essential sewing skills in a fun, supportive environment. Over five one-hour sessions, you'll learn how to use a sewing machine, read a simple pattern, and practice basic techniques like straight stitching, hemming, and seam finishing. By the end of the course, you’ll complete two small projects. No experience required. All tools and materials provided.

Take your sewing to the next level in Sewing 201, designed for those who are confident using a sewing machine and ready to tackle more detailed and creative projects. Over five one-hour sessions, you’ll refine your technique and explore advanced sewing skills. Basic sewing experience is required.

You cannot register for a program or league that is already full. Some programs and leagues have waitlists.
