Fargo Birding Festival

Description

Join the Fargo Park District and Audubon Great Plains for a morning of birds and binoculars in beautiful South Fargo. This birding festival is held in Forest River Park, which is designated as an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society and Birdlife International, joining a global network of the most important sites for birds.

All skill levels are welcome and no registration is required for this free event. Bring your family out and learn about birding from experts, courtesy of Audubon Great Plains. Don't forget to bring a pair of binoculars, a limited number is provided.

Artmania (ages 6-8)

Challenge your child's creativity! This combination class offers independent children a sampling of art projects using various media such as drawing, painting, watercolors and pastels. Projects change each series, so students can repeat the class and continue to create and have fun. Classes are held throughout the year.

Accelerated Artists (ages 9-12)

Grow your child's creativity! Young artists will explore different media such as drawing, painting, collage and more through creative and fun art projects. Students learn about artistic styles while strengthening existing foundations. Repeat students are encouraged; projects are unique to each series. Classes are offered throughout the year.
