Monstrous Imagination
Reports of mysterious monster sightings are popping up all over Fargo, but don’t worry, these little creatures are friendly, fun, and full of surprises!
Join us for Monstrous Imagination, an art-filled adventure where kids will pick a special monster egg and discover the tiny buddy waiting inside. With their new sidekick in tow, they’ll embark on a self-guided scavenger hunt through the woods of Forest River Park, exploring monster habitats and solving clues along the way. Their final stop is a treasure chest filled with monster gold. Show a coin to our staff and receive a monstrously cool prize.
Before or after your scavenger hunt, stop by our craft station to get creative with a hands-on monster-themed project. While our clay monsters won’t be hiding at this event, we’ve heard they’ve been spotted in other parks, so keep your eyes peeled all summer long.
Forest River Park is a natural, wooded area with unpaved trails, perfect for monster exploring. There’s a portable toilet on site but no permanent shelter or running water.
