Jerry was re-elected to the Board in June of 2024, originally joining the Fargo Park Board for his first term in 2016. As the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Engagement for the North Dakota University System, he provides public affairs and strategy leadership for the North Dakota University System office and the 11 institutions of the NDUS. He retired as a Captain in the Navy Reserve after 28 years of service. He serves on the Board of Directors of FM Athletics and the Roger Maris Celebrity Golf Tournament. He also volunteers with the Growing Together community garden project.

Oak Grove Park is one of the oldest parks the Fargo Park District has to offer. The 36-acre park is home to the state's largest horseshoe complex and an 18-hole disc golf course. It also has picnic tables, recreational trails and shelters, both reservable and non-reservable.

Iwen Park features two disc golf courses, a boat ramp with access to the Red River, fishing spots, mountain bike trails and cross country ski trails in the winter. The park offers a quick 9-hole disc golf course and a full 18-hole championship course. Iwen Park is a project of the Urban Woods & Prairie Initiative with Audubon Dakota.

This 18-hole golf course was designed by Richard Phelps and features four sets of tees, generous landing area and large bentgrass greens. Rose Creek offers a stellar driving range and welcomes all ages and skill levels.

This 9 hole, par 33 golf course offers golfers rolling hills, native grasses and rough-faced bunkers that are offset by wide fairways and accessible greens. Osgood's five tee box options give experienced golfers a challenge from the black tees but allow intermediate players an enjoyable round from the red and white tees.

This park is located on the Old Milwaukee Trail and features picnic tables, a playground and recreational trails. You can also enjoy a game of disc golf at the park's junior disc golf course.

At Edgewood Golf Course, you will find a Memorial golf park dedicated to Judge Rodney S. Webb. The golf park was completed in 2019, and consists of two practice areas.

Fox Run Park is a neighborhood play park that features a basketball court, picnic tables and playground. The park is also home to one of the many disc golf courses that the Fargo Park District has to offer.

Edgewood Public Golf Course is located in North Fargo along the valley’s Red River and is the only course in the Fargo-Moorhead area lined with gorgeous mature trees. This 18-hole, par 71 course is not only a sight to see but also a challenge for any advanced golfer looking to play on a championship course.

Edgewood Public Golf Course is a wonderland of wintertime fun offering cross-country skiing, ski rental, snowshoe rental and sledding hills. The old clubhouse is open as a warming facility with an interior fireplace and snack bar.

This 28-acre park has two playgrounds, recreational trails, 18-hole disc golf course, shelter and stage rentals. Wedding reservations are accepted at Trollwood.

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, Prairiewood is perfect for that early morning, afternoon or just after dinner round of golf. Being a 9 hole course, Prairiewood allows for players to get a quick game in when desired.

Metro Recreation Center features indoor turf year round making it a very versatile facility. The space is great for soccer, football, lacrosse, tag and even golf putting.

Elephant / Percy Godwin Park features baseball and softball fields, soccer field, tennis courts, picnic tables and grill, playground and restrooms. Enjoy a cook out and fire up the grill that's on site and sit at the picnic tables or take in a game of disc golf at the park's junior disc golf course. 

Located in North Fargo along the Red River, El Zagal Public Golf Course is great for any golfer, no matter the age or skill level. This 9 hole, par 3 course is an easy play and a great way to get outside and enjoy a round of golf.
