Outdoor Rink & Warming House

Outdoor skating rinks are located throughout the city. Lights are turned on at all of the outdoor rinks for the evening hours. Lights will be turned off for the night starting at 8:00 pm and doors automatically lock.

Hours are subject to change according to weather conditions. Warming houses will close earlier than scheduled in the evenings if the temperatures reach -10 degrees or colder, or wind chills of -30 or greater.

Sledding Hills

Due to snow melt, the Edgewood Chalet and Mickelson Sledding Hill are closed until further notice.

Fargo Parks offers two sledding hills which are great recreational fun for people of all ages. Grab your sled and head out to the Edgewood Chalet and Mickelson Sledding Hill.

Skate Parks

The Dike West Skate Park facility is made of formed concrete and contains challenges for the beginner, intermediate and advanced athletes. It is ideal for adventurous skateboarders, bikers and rollerbladers. The Jefferson West, Madison and Village West Skate Parks are smaller facilities with a few smaller ramps and boxes for the beginner to advanced skateboarder.

All facilities are open from dawn until dusk and are free to the public. Use of proper protective gear is highly recommended.

Outdoor Pools

Fourth of July Weekend Pool Operations Update

Due to limited staffing, the Fargo Park District will condense operations to three of our high-capacity pools over the Fourth of July weekend. From Friday, July 4 through Sunday, July 6, only Island Park Pool, Davies Recreation Pool, and Southwest Recreation Pool will be open.

To accommodate all patrons, all season pool pass holders will have access to any of the three open pools, regardless of their originally assigned location.
