Active Start is the entry level program designed for youth with little or no golf experience. The class will meet for 50 minutes once a week for five lessons. Using the oversized and bright colored SNAG (Starting New at Golf) equipment, the youth will be taught a simplified approach to learning the game of golf.
SNAG golf equipment will be provided for participants.
Make sure to leave yourself time to find parking. The Island Park parking lots or the ramp are great options to look for parking and there is also plenty of street parking in the area around the park.
MAT Bus also offers free rides to kids coming to the Teddy Bear Parade and Midwest Kid Fest! Adults ride for only $1.50. Pick a bus route or park your car in one of the Park & Ride Lots.
