June & July Sessions

This program provides different types of recreational activities for children ages 5-12 during the summer. Children must be toilet trained, no pull-ups allowed. Registrations will be taken throughout the duration of the program. One session is held in June and one in July, Monday-Thursday, 9am-1pm.

If you want to register after the program has started, call the Fargo Park District office to sign up.

All participants must bring daily: sunscreen, water bottle (labeled with name), adequate and nutritional lunch & beverage (no Lunchables or soda).

Lessons

Handball Lessons for youth age 10-15 and adults ages 16 and older. Handball is a fun and active sport played by hitting a racquetball against a large wall on a marked off court. It help improve your hand-eye coordination and increase your fitness level.

Officer Josh Marvig

Park Officer Josh Marvig has been serving the Fargo Park District since 2018. Officer Marvig has worked for the Fargo Police Department since 2016 and previously worked for the Lisbon, North Dakota Police Department.

If you or someone you know has witnessed a crime or has any information regarding a crime that has taken place at a Fargo Park District park, facility or event, we would appreciate your help.

Volunteer Coaches

Due to the size of this program, we need many volunteer coaches. Typically parents are the volunteer coaches for this program. To become a volunteer coach you do not have to be a baseball expert. The volunteer coach's primary role is to be a positive role model and help the players to have a fun, positive experience. Please consider becoming a volunteer coach. To become a volunteer coach, please specify on your child's registration form.
