Stop by Island Park on June 13, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and enjoy a day filled with music, laughter and fun as children play and learn at the Fargo Park District’s annual Midwest Kid Fest presented by Midco! This family-friendly event offers a whole day packed with fun games and activities. Admission and all activities are free for kids and parents.   

Start the day with the Teddy Bear Parade with line-up starting at 10:30 am at the north end of Island Park by 1st Avenue. Attendees will travel along a colorful path through the park to kick off the festivities. Then, enjoy interactive booths and life size games such as checkers, Yahtzee, Tetris, bouncy houses, obstacle courses and more. Explore all the great offerings there are for kids in our community and play a game, make a craft or learn something new through booth activities courtesy of area businesses and organizations. 

Food vendors will be onsite and available for purchase, or you can bring lunch for a picnic at the park. Free transportation is provided by MAT Bus for kids going to the festival. MAT Bus transportation information to Midwest Kid Fest can be found at FargoParks.com.  

Parking can be found at Dill Hill, the Dike West Park and Skate Park, and the Island Park Pool. Street parking is available around the park and there are several parking ramps within walking distance of the park.
