Get ready to lace up and hit the ice with the Fargo Park District's Adult Hockey Leagues! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just looking to have some fun on the rink, we've got a league for you. Our Lower, Middle, and Upper divisions offer a range of skill levels, so everyone can join in on the action. Safety is our top priority, so absolutely no checking or slap shots allowed. We strictly enforce USA Hockey rules across all divisions and have a zero-tolerance policy for fighting. With games lasting about an hour, it's the perfect way to get your adrenaline pumping.

Cardboard Sled Race

Description

Time to flex your recycling muscles! Gather your supplies and test your hand at creating an amazing cardboard sled. Enjoy sled races and a contest for the most creative sled. Registration begins at 10:30 am in the warming house with races starting at 11:00 am. 

Pre-registration is not required for this free event.

Celebrate the holiday season at Rheault Farm by planning a visit to Santa Village! Bring the whole family to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, meet Santa’s reindeer and more holiday fun. 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝟒𝟓 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠.

Santa Village is a free event, located on a 15-acre enclosed farm site, where children and adults can make holiday memories. Participate in the Season of Giving by bringing donations of canned goods, cash and new or gently used toys for local organizations. Remember to dress warm and bring your camera!

Fargo Birding Festival

Description

Join the Fargo Park District and Audubon Great Plains for a morning of birds and binoculars in beautiful South Fargo. This birding festival is held in Forest River Park, which is designated as an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society and Birdlife International, joining a global network of the most important sites for birds.

All skill levels are welcome and no registration is required for this free event. Bring your family out and learn about birding from experts, courtesy of Audubon Great Plains. Don't forget to bring a pair of binoculars, a limited number is provided.

Volleyball

 

This program focuses on teaching both girls and boys the fundamentals of volleyball, teamwork and sportsmanship. Players register on an individual basis only. Teams are formed by the Fargo Park District. Practices and games are approximately one hour. A schedule with the actual dates and times is posted online after teams have been formed.

Broomball

Similar to hockey, broomball is a fast-paced sport that's a hybrid of roller hockey and floor ball. It's a perfect indoor activity to participate in during the bleak winter months.
