Bring your ice fishing rod and try your luck at the annual Youth Ice Fishing Derby. The Fargo Park District is hosting the Youth Ice Fishing Derby on Saturday, February 27 at the Woodhaven South Pond. Registration for this free event begins at 1:30 pm and the derby will take place from 2:00-3:00 pm. 

Youth ages 15 and under are invited to come try your luck catching perch, bluegill or northern pike in the derby. Free bait is available while supplies last and trophies are awarded for the top catches. Participants must provide their own fishing rod and tackle and must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. Masks are required. Use of portable ice houses & sonar equipment is allowed but are not provided. All ice fishing holes are pre-drilled for participants. Enjoy free hot cocoa and giveaways while supplies last. 

Youth Ice Fishing Derby is sponsored in part by F-M Walleyes Unlimited and SCHEELS.
