The Fargo Park District has closed all riverfront parks, nature parks and trails for flood mitigation efforts. There are flood waters present currently in portions of the multiuse trail system along the river as well as the lower sections of the riverfront parks. The park and trail closures are part of an effort to reduce traffic in the area during flood protection efforts. Riverfront parks and trails will remain closed until flood levels subside and flood cleanup is completed.

The park closure includes but is not limited to: Dike East Park and Dog Park, Holm Park, Iwen Park Lindenwood Park, Lions Conservancy Park, Oak Grove Park, Trefoil Park, Wildflower Park and Jack Williams Stadium. In addition, the nature park closure includes: Orchard Glen, Forest River and Heritage Hills. The trail closure includes the multiuse trails stretching from Lindenwood to El Zagal and Trollwood to Riverwood.
