Looking for a friendly game of cards and a chance to connect with others? Open Cards are available at all three Valley Senior Services senior centers at various times throughout the week!
Whether you’re brand new to the game, bringing a friend along, or have been playing with the same group for years, ALL those 55+ are welcome to pull up a chair and try their hand at cards.
We know how important socialization, connection, and a sense of community are for adults. Open Cards provide a relaxed and welcoming opportunity to meet new people, enjoy familiar faces, share a few laughs, and of course play a few hands!
When can you play? Open Card times vary throughout the week, so we recommend checking the Activity Schedule at each senior center for the most up-to-date days and times.
Come on your own, bring a friend, or bring your regular card crew. There’s a seat at the table for you!

Looking to Lunch & Play Cards?
Lunch-time meals served at the senior center are provided by Valley Senior Services through its Congregate Meal Program, which receives funding under the Older Americans Act. All meals must be signed up for in advance. To help Valley Senior Services receive reimbursement for a portion of each eligible meal served, all individuals who register for a meal must complete a Meal Program Assessment Form before receiving the meal. Assessment forms are available at each center and can be completed when you sign up.
Individuals 60 years of age and older are encouraged to make a free-will donation of $4.00 for their meal. Participants under the age of 60 do not qualify for meals under the Older Americans Act and must pay $11.75 to cover the cost of their meal (unless their spouse is 60+).
Fargo Park District Programs & Leagues
All Fargo Park District programs and leagues are first come first serve. Please be advised, a lot of programs and leagues fill up before the registration deadline. You cannot register for a program or league that is already full. Some programs and leagues have waitlists. If you are on a waitlist, you are NOT registered and are only contacted if a spot becomes available.
