The Fargo Park District's archery program is open to kids, adults, and families looking to learn and improve their archery skills. Whether you're in it for the fun or aiming to advance, we've got you covered. We offer Archery 101 and 202 lessons for the following groups:

  • Youth – Ages 10-15
  • Adult – Ages 16 +
  • Family – 1 Adult + 1-2 Youth

Youth & Family Archery

Archery 101 teaches the basics of archery and proper shooting techniques. Equipment is provided. Instructors are certified and have multiple years of experience from both competition and instructing archery courses. Each group meets once per week for a 45-minute session for four weeks.  

  • Youth course is for ages 10 to 15. 
  • Family course can be one adult and one to two youth. 

Archery 202 is for those who have some experience in archery or have already completed an archery course. Equipment is provided but registrants are encouraged to bring their own to learn how to properly set up their bow and proper shooting technique. Instructors are certified and have multiple years of experience from both competition and instructing archery courses. Each group meets once per week for a 45-minute session for four weeks.  

  • Youth course is for ages 10 to 15. 
  • Family course can be one adult and one to two youth.
