The Fargo Park District recently experienced a cybersecurity event that caused temporary disruptions to phone, email, and internal systems. Upon discovering unusual activity on October 27, 2025, staff acted quickly to secure the network, contain the event, and begin restoring systems. All essential programs, services, and facilities have remained fully operational.

The Fargo Park District is working closely with third-party forensic specialists and legal counsel to determine the full scope of this cybersecurity event. While the investigation is ongoing, if the forensic review confirms that any personal information was affected, those individuals for whom we have valid mailing addresses will be notified and offered services pursuant to applicable law.

"We want the community to know we're taking this very seriously," said Susan Faus, Executive Director of the Fargo Park District. "We have focused every effort on restoring operations safely and are working with experts to identify the extent of the incident."
