Red River Market’s 7th season opens Saturday, July 10 in its new location at Broadway Square in downtown Fargo.

This summer, through a collaboration with Broadway Square managed by the Fargo Park District, Red River Market moves to the new location at 201 Broadway. The new venue, just south of RDO Tower, hosts the weekly farmers’ market’s community programming with vendor booths on 2nd Avenue N.

Opening Day hosts 60 local vendors including produce, meat, eggs, bakery, pantry items, household goods, art, and more. The farmers’ market continues every Saturday, 10:00 am -2:00 pm until the end of October. The market is held on Sunday, July 18 instead of Saturday due to the Downtown Street Fair.

The market season kicks off with a ceremony and song by Native American drummers and dancers from FM Crossroads. Visitors are able to grab breakfast, lunch, coffee, or a drink while enjoying a cooking demonstration by Noelle Harden and live performances by Blue Red Roses, Jessica Vines and Connor Lee, and The Crop Dusters.

As the Red River Market grows, 11 new businesses appear on Saturdays including Saigon Kuisine, serving authentic southern Vietnamese food, Heartland Bison’s ground bison, roasts, steaks, and brats, and fresh-cut flowers from Fargo Flower Farm.

All vendors accept SNAP/EBT on eligible products and Red River Market matches purchases up to $15 per person per visit at the information booth.

Visitors can park for free at the RDO Tower ramp, RoCo ramp, or Mercantile ramp. More information on vendors and performances is available at Red River Market's website.
