The Fargo Park District strives toward serving the needs of financially disadvantaged youth and adults with the help of the Fargo Park District Scholarship Program. The Scholarship Program helps to provide the opportunity for qualifying citizens in the City of Fargo to participate in general recreation programs and activities.
The Scholarship Program was established in 1998. Last year, over 550 scholarships were provided to local youth & adults. The most popular scholarship is the summer pool pass, which allows access to all pools all summer long. Over the course of 25 years over 8,000 scholarships have been provided in our community.
The Fargo Park District Scholarship Program covers the adult and youth participation fees for all Fargo Park District individual registration programs, select youth Courts Plus programs, Fargo Parks Sports Center activity punch card, Court Plus playground punch card, and pool passes.
