Broadway Square is now scheduled to open with a soft launch period in December 2020 due to changes in the construction schedule and increased COVID-19 precautions. The Fargo Park District and Block 9 Partners are excited to celebrate the new space with the Fargo community.
During the month of December, features, amenities, and holiday decorations will be installed and tested, including the new interactive 32-foot-tall Christmas tree. Daily skating and a few small and spread out events with limited capacity are scheduled for December as we make seasonal amenities like the ice rink and firepits available to the public.
We’re excited to have skating come to the heart of downtown Fargo with the inaugural opening of the multi-season ice rink. As an added COVID-19 precaution, skating at the rink is available by booking free, one-hour skating sessions to limit the number of participants. Book your ice time Monday-Friday between 4:00-9:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday between 12:00-9:00 pm from December 4-30.
