This year, we're changing things up a bit.
Broadway Square's annual National Zoo Day event is going to expand to include activities at both Broadway Square AND at the Red River Zoo, as we come together to celebrate our local zoo and zoo professionals!
Broadway Square and the Red River Zoo are teaming up to share the magic of the zoo with animal lovers of all ages.
This year's event highlights include:
- At the Red River Zoo
- Scavenger Hunt: Part One with quiz questions to answer about The Zoo and its people and animals that enter you into a raffle to win prizes
- Animal friends to visit
- Volunteer Sign-Up Opportunities
- Broadway Square staff providing info about The Square and our upcoming summer programs
- At Broadway Square
- Scavenger Hunt: Part Two with quiz questions to answer about The Zoo and its people and animals that enter you into a raffle to win prizes
- Story Hour featuring books about the Zoo and zoo animals
- A resource table with information about the Red River Zoo and available opportunities to explore more and sign up for
The two-part scavenger hunt will result in raffled prizes for each half...and one MEGA-PRIZE for someone who completes both Scavenger Hunt halves and submits their answers to the questions, entering them in the raffle.
