Summer Grind

The Summer Grind Exhibition provides divisions for beginners, intermediate and advanced participants. Participants are required to wear a helmet and should bring their own skateboard.  Prizes will be given to participants in each division. Each participant will receive a free drawstring bag while supplies last. The professional skate group 3rd Layer will be emceeing the Summer Grind Exhibition. 3rd Layer will also be providing prizes as well as a demo during this exhibition.

Skateboarding Clinic

All ages are welcome to register for the one-day 3rd Lair Skateboarding Clinic. Participants will learn skateboarding skills, skate park safety and skate park etiquette from 3rd Lair’s professional skateboarding instructors.  Lessons will be adapted to fit each participant’s skill level.

BMX Jam

Bikers, show off your tricks at the BMX Jam. All skill levels can participate in the exhibition. Helmets are required.

Go Skateboarding Day

Join Fargo Parks in celebrating Go Skateboarding Day! It is an annual international event to celebrate the pure exhilaration, creativity and spirit of the sport of skateboarding. The Fargo Park District will be celebrating skateboarding day with free food and beverages while supplies last.

Go Skateboarding Day was started in 2003 to promote the sport of skateboarding.  Don’t miss out on a day dedicated to skateboarding.  Bring your board and show your enthusiasm at the Dike West Skate Park!
