Watch a movie in the park with your family and friends.  Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show.  Free popcorn and pop while supplies last.

COMMUNITY PLAY DAY
Take a mini-vacation on the Farm. Kids will have fun playing games, doing a craft project and playing on the playgorund. Daycares are welcome. Adults supervision is required.

Dates: Thursdays, June 25, July 9, August 6
Location: Rheault Farm
Times: 9:00-11:00 am and 1:00-3:00 pm
Fee: Free, no registration required.
This program is free thanks to Xcel Energy Foundation.

 

Kite Day
Come show off your kite flying skills.  Prizes will be given to winners in youth and adult categories.  Compete for youngest flyer, oldest flyer, most original, most persistent, best stunt flyer and spectacular crash. Free hot dogs and Pepsi products will be provided while supplies last.
Location: Ed Clapp Park (parking lot)

Share A Story sas logo
Bring the entire family to enjoy performers, musicians and community members telling stories in their own special way.  The event includes free books, free food and free admission.  Share a Story is a cooperative effort between Prairie Public Television, United Way of Cass Clay and the Fargo Park District.

Brin your camera and get your photo taken with Super Why and Princess Presto. Make books, enjoy art activities, and hear stories on the lawn.

Midwest Kid Fest & Teddy Bear Parade
midfest kidfest logoJoin in this day by, for and about kids. Bring a teddy bear to and march in the Teddy Bear Parade. Then have fun at interactive educational booths, carnival games and entertainment stages.  All activities are free!  Event sponsored by CableOne, Kid Core and the Fargo Park District.

Teddy Bear Parade- Location: Dike West Parking Lot  
Registration at Dike West at 10:00 am
Parade Begins at 10:30 am
Kids are invited to bring their favorite teddy bear to walk in the short parade around Island Park.
Print Registration Form and bring with to the Parade.

Parking is available at the Island Park Ramp for $3.00/car for the entire day.

Metro Area Transit is offering free rides for kids to Midwest Kid Fest and the Teddy Bear Parade.
