Meet your neighbors at this fun family event. Sing your favorite karaoke song, play on inflatable games, take home a craft project and get your face painted. Enjoy free food while supplies lasts.

Meet the Xcellent Art teacher at the park and create take home arts and crafts. The fun travels weekly to different neighborhoods throughout the summer. All the supplies are provided.

Community Play Day

Take a Free Play Day! Play yard games, do a take home craft, climb on the playground and move to music outside in the sunshine!

Share A Story

Bring your camera. Enjoy stories shared through music, dance and performances by community members. Free books, free food and free admission.

Midwest Kid Fest & Teddy Bear Parade

Island Park will be filled with music, laughter and bright colors as children play and learn. Bring a teddy bear to the Dike West Parking Lot and begin the day with a march in the parade. Following the parade, the fest hosts 30 interactive educational booths, many carnival games, entertainment stages and strolling entertainment. All activities are free! Concessions available for purchase.

Movie Nights

Come to Island Park at dusk for some fun in the park at the annual Summer Movie Nights! The fun starts when the sun goes down with a movie with free Pepsi and popcorn while supplies last.

Streets Alive

Turn off your engines. Turn on your hearts!
Join our annual event to spark human movement! Three miles of downtown Fargo and Moorhead streets shut down to motorized traffic so you can walk, run, bike, skate, dance --and eat or meet with healthy vendors.
