Spring Events

Ice Revue

At the end of each year’s skating season, students from each of the Park District classes present an “Ice Skating Revue.” Registration forms will be available at www.fargoparks.com and will be mailed to each skater who enrolled in session 1, 2 or 3. All classes and lessons are supervised by the Fargo Park District’s Ice Revue Director.

Date: Saturday, March 12 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, March 13 at 2:00 pm

Teddy Bear Tea Party

Children can bring their teddy bear for games, etiquette and dress up. Bite sized snacks and refreshments will be served. The fee is $6 per child and pre-registration is required.

Cosmic Bowling

Bring the whole family and enjoy bowling at its wildest times. Music and lights will add to the party atmosphere. Prizes will be given away throughout the event. Register early. Limited spots available.
Location: West Acres Bowl, 3402 Interstate Blvd SW
Fee: $8.00 per person (groups of 4 or 5 preferred)

Butterfly Ball

Attentions dads, uncles and grandpas! Bring your the special little girl in your life, ages 4-12, to the Butterfly Ball. This semi-formal event includes music, dancing, photo opportunities and a mini grand march.

Bumblebee Brunch

Join in a fun, bug themed brunch. There will be craft projects and spring themed activities. Make ants on a branch, fruit catepillers, and dirt cups. All edible! Enjoy performance by magician, Jeff Salveson!

Garden Party

Get in the gardening mood at this pre-summer event. Kids and parents will enjoy making buggy snacks and insect arts and crafts. There will also be a bug hunt, Tom Huus face painting, plant petting zoo, animals from Chahinkapa Zoo and the NDSU Bug Man and more!

Kite Day

Come show off your kite flying skills. Prizes will be given to winners in youth and adult categories. Compete for youngest flyer, oldest flyer, most original, most persistent, best stunt flyer and spectacular crash.
The event is free of charge and everyone is welcome to attend. Free hot dogs and Pepsi products will be provided while supplies last. Prizes will be given away throughout the event.
Parking is available in the Bethel Church Parking Lot located at 2702 30 Ave S, Fargo. This event is sponsored in part by the Fargo Park District, Luther Family Ford, Pepsi, YMCA of NDSU and Fargo Public Library.
