Come and spend an afternoon of creative fun and exciting art projects. Children will be able to create a variety of art projects to take home.
Butterfly Ball
Spend a special evening with the little princess in your life. Bring
your daughters to this father-daughter prom.
Community Block Parties
Come to a party in the park with your friends and family. Dance
to music, participate in games or make arts and crafts.
Community Play Day
Kids will have fun playing games, doing a craft project and playing on the playground. Daycares are welcome.
Concerts
Bring the whole family out to the park and listen to some of the area's best artists.
Cosmic Bowling
Bring the whole family and enjoy bowling at its wildest times. Music and lights will add to the party atmosphere. Prizes will be given away throughout the event.
Cross Country Ski Race
A recreational 5K traditional ski race and skating style races
will be offered for both youth and adults.
Family Day at the Dike
Events for the entire family including races, tubing, sledding,
hot dogs and pop.
Family Winter-ific Day
Before all the snow melts, enjoy Clydesdale sleigh rides, cross-country
ski rentals and downhill tubing.
Fargo Birding Festival
See a variety of birds in a beautiful setting in South Fargo. Forest River is county owned land that birders can use.
Fiber Arts Festival
Celebrate all things fiber, yarn and fabric! If you are at all interested in dyeing with natural dyes, you’ve gotta come to this year’s Fiber Arts Festival!
Frozen Fantasy
Create some winter magic by bringing the whole family out to this semi-formal dance affair. Let it snow outside while you dance the night away at this fantasy land. The evening will consist of music, dancing and refreshments.
Garden Party
Learn about gardens, flowers and insects. Make a balloon plant and buggy snacks and try your luck at the bug hunt.
Hockeyfest
Free event for the public with free matinee movie, open skate, celebrity game and much more!
Hoppin Hoedown
Moms, step-moms, grandmas and aunts, bring your favorite cowboy to this hoedown party.
Ice Revue
Enjoy a show on ice. Skaters of all skill levels show off
their skills they learned from the skating season.
Kite Day
Come show off your kite flying skills. Try making a homemade
kite to fly. Prizes will be given to winners in youth and
adult categories.
Midwest Kid Fest
Join in this day by, for and about kids. Bring a teddy bear to
and march in the Teddy Bear Parade. Then have fun at interactive
educational booths, carnival games and entertainment stages.
Moonligh Monster Mash (Formerly Freaky Fright Nite)
Dress up in your best costume and come ready to get spooked. Take
a peek in Frankenstein’s Photo Booth and monster mash the
night away.
Movie Nights
Watch a movie in the park with your family and friends. Bring
a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show.
Nature Adventure
Bring the family out for a fun evening outdoors. Enjoy food, crafts, games and nature activities.
Phil Hansen Sportsmanship Kamp for Kids
Come out for your chance to learn about sportsmanship
and football from one of the best. Former NDSU and Buffalo Bills
football player, Phil Hansen, is hosting a Sportsmanship Kamp for
Kids.
Reforest the Red
Help plant 1,000 trees and shrubs along the Red River in celebration of Arbor Day!
Share A Story
Bring the entire family to enjoy performers, musicians and community
members telling stories in their own special way.
Streets Alive
Join our annual event to spark human movement! Three miles of downtown Fargo and Moorhead streets shut down to motorized traffic so you can walk, run, bike, skate, dance and eat or meet with healthy vendors.
Teddy Bear Tea Party
Bring your teddy bear for games, etiquette and dress-up. Bite-size snacks and refreshments will be served.
