Community Block Parties
Come to a party in the park with your friends and family. Dance
to music, participate in games or make arts and crafts.
Cosmic Bowling
Bring the whole family and enjoy bowling at its wildest times. Music and lights will add to the party atmosphere. Prizes will be given away throughout the event.
Cross Country Ski Race
A recreational 5K traditional ski race and skating style races
will be offered for both youth and adults.
Family Day at the Dike
Events for the entire family including races, tubing, sledding,
hotdogs and pop.
Family Winter-ific Day
Before all the snow melts, enjoy Clydesdale sleigh rides, cross-country
ski rentals and downhill tubing.
Freaky Fright Nite
Dress up in your best costume and come ready to get spooked. Take
a peek in Frankenstein’s Photo Booth and monster mash the
night away.
Frozen Fantasy
Create some winter magic by bringing the whole family out to this semi-formal dance affair. Let it snow outside while you dance the night away at this fantasy land. The evening will consist of music, dancing and refreshments.
Garden Party
Learn about gardens, flowers and insects. Make a balloon plant and buggy snacks and try your luck at the bug hunt.
Ice Revue
Enjoy a show on ice. Skaters of all skill levels show off
their skills they learned from the skating season.
Kite Day
Come show off your kite flying skills. Try making a homemade
kite to fly. Prizes will be given to winners in youth and
adult categories.
Midwest Kid Fest
Join in this day by, for and about kids. Bring a teddy bear to
and march in the Teddy Bear Parade. Then have fun at interactive
educational booths, carnival games and entertainment stages.
Movie Nights
Watch a movie in the park with your family and friends. Bring
a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show.
Share A Story
Bring the entire family to enjoy performers, musicians and community
members telling stories in their own special way.
