Edgewood Golf Course Open

16 holes are open for play at Edgewood Golf Course. The driving range is also open. The Fargo Park District is having a Flood of the Century Sale on season passes, including the 5 FORE 1, Edgewood, Rose Creek and El Zagal season passes. These can be purchased online at www.fargogolf.net

Community Photo Contest

Show off your photography skills and enter the Fargo Park District's first ever Community Photo Contest as a part of National Parks and Recreation Month. The contest starts July 1 and end July 31, giving you the entire month to get the perfect shot. Click here for rules, guidelines and an entry form.

Fargo Pools Open 1- 5 pm on July 4

Cool off at the pool this 4th of July. The Fargo Park District's four public outdoor swimming pools will be open for general admission from 1:00-5:00 pm on Saturday, July 4. Island Park Pool will also offer lap swimming from Noon - 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 4. The pools include Island Park Pool, Madison Pool, Northside Recreational Pool and Southwest Recreational Pool.<more>

Family Fun Concert on July 8

Dance, sing, and enjoy the park with your family. The Fargo Park District is hosting a series of four Family Fun Concerts. The first concert will be from 7:00-8:30 pm on July 8 at Island Park featuring Fat Daddy's. <more>

Come see La Ditzy at Community Play Day on July 9

Looking for some free summer fun for the kids? Bring them out for Community Play Day on Thursday, July 9 at Rheault Farm. There will be two sessions offered from 9:00 am - 11:00 am and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. <more>

Register for the 3rd Lair Skateboarding Clinic

All ages are welcome to register for the one-day 3rd Lair Skateboarding Clinic. The Clinic will take place from 9 am - noon on Saturday, July 11 at Dike West Kate Park. The registration deadline is Wednesday, July 1 so sign up today. <more>

Park It! With the Xcellent Art Teacher

Explore your creativity with the Xcellent Art Teacher this summer at Park It! The Fargo Park is hosting a series of afternoons filled with arts and crafts. The next Park It! will be held on Tuesday, July 14 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Lewis & Clark Park. <more>

Open Skate Times

The Fargo Park District is holding open skate times for all ages at the Southwest Youth Ice Arena. The public skating times will be from 12:00-3:00 pm on Fridays, June 26 through July 17, except for July 3. The fees are $1.50 for children 12 & under, $2.00 for ages 13-18, $2.50 for adults 18 & up and $3.50 for families.

Floating Bridge at Dike East Raised

Moorhead Parks and Recreation Department will be removing the floating bridge at Dike East, due to expected high river levels of the Red River. The bridge will be replaced again when the Red River recedes.

500 Mile Walking Club

Stay active this winter by joining the 500 Mile Walking Club. The Fargo Park District is offering a walking club to help keep people motivated to stay healthy and active over the long winter season. The 500 Mile Walking Club is open to all ages and will take place from June 1-August 31.Register any time during the summer. Click here to print a registration form. <more>

 

Park Policy Use

Public use of park property owned by the Fargo Park District requires permission for public and/or private events. This includes press conferences, public displays, rallies, and recreation events. Written requests are required to secure the proper permit. Call 241-1350 for information.
