German Folk Fest at Rheault Farm on July 27

Take a trip to Germany without leaving Fargo on July 27 at Rheault Farm from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. Enjoy authentic German food and music at this festival. German displays, crafts, and an entertainment stage featuring a band from Germany will be part of this celebration. <more>

Movie Night at Island Park on July 28

The Fargo Park District is hosting Movie Night in the Park on Monday, July 28. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair to the upcoming Movie in the Park featuring Surf's Up. Movie night is free and everyone is welcome to attend. Free Pepsi and popcorn will be provided while supplies last. <more>

Park It! at the Park on July 29

The Fargo Park District and Xcel Energy Foundation are hosting Park IT! on Tuesday, July 29 at Centennial Park from 1-4 pm. Park It! is a day to let your creativity flow. The Xcellent Art Teacher will be travelling to your neighborhood for a day of fun in the park. They will bring all the supplies needed to paint, draw, color or glue a special project for you to take home. <more>

Family Fun Concert on July 30

Dance, sing and enjoy the park with your family! The Fargo Park District is hosting a Family Fun Concert on July 30 at Roosevelt Park featuring Poco Fuego. <more>

Youth in Baseball/Softball Program get Free Admission to Legion Games

Youth participating in Fargo Park District baseball/softball program get free admission to all Bomber and Post 2 home games when they were their uniform shirts. Check www.post2baseball.com for dates and times.

u18 world hockey tournamentFargo-Moorhead to Host IIHF World U-18
Championship (Tentative Dates, April 9-19, 2009)

USA Hockey announced that Fargo, North Dakota and Moorhead, Minnesota will play host to the 2009 International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Championship. The IIHF World Under-18 Championship is a 10-nation tournament that features the world's best players under 18 years of age. The primary venue for the 2009 IIHF World Under-18 Championship will be the 5,000-seat Urban Plains Center in Fargo. The Moorhead Sports Center, with a capacity of 3,000, will also host games during the IIHF World Under-18 Championship. <more>

 

 

Park Policy Use

Public use of park property owned by the Fargo Park District requires permission for public and/or private events. This includes press conferences, public displays, rallies, and recreation events. Written requests are required to secure the proper permit. Call 241-1350 for information.
