Island Park will be filled with music, laughter, and bright colors as children play and learn.  All activities are free!  The fest hosts 30 interactive educational booths, many carnival games, an entertainments stage, petting zoo, inflatables, strolling entertainment, and more.

Teddy Bear Parade: Bring a canned food donation to benefit the Great Plains Food Bank to the parade along with your Teddy Bear!  Participants will need to complete a waiver prior to walking in the parade.

**Due to planned road construction around the park this year, the gathering place for the start of the parade will be in front of the Island Park Pool.  The parade route will run along the trails within Island Park.**

Booth Activities: Over 35 area businesses and organizations will be set up and ready to play in the park!  Stop by to see all the great offerings there are for kids in our community and play a game, make a craft, or learn something new.

Food Vendors:. Whether you're looking for hot dogs, pizza, ice cream, sno cones, iced coffee or more, there will be something to hit the spot!

MAT Bus: Offers free rides to kids coming to the Teddy Bear Parade and Midwest Kid Fest!  Adults ride for only $1.50.  Pick a bus route or park your car in one of the Park & Ride Lots.

Parking: Due to construction around the east and south sides of Island Park, make sure to leave yourself time to find parking.  The Island Park parking lots or the ramp are great options to look for parking and there is also plenty of street parking in the area around the park.

Volunteers: Join us for a day of fun! Jobs include supervising the Parade Registration, Belly Bumpers and Inflatables. Shifts are 10:30-2:00pm, 1:30-4:30pm and 4:00-7:30pm.  Contact Jessica Korynta at

Entertainment Stage: Bring your blanket and grab a comfortable patch of grass to watch the entertainment being presented by local performers.
