FACILITY ATTENDANT POSITION:

GOLF COURSE POSITIONS:

GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE:
Individuals must be 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.  Responsibilities include providing grounds maintenance labor at the public golf courses, operation of tractors, self-propelled mowers, irrigation equipment, trucks and a variety of hand tools.  Weekend work required on a rotating basis. Pay scale starting at $8.00/hour.

PLAYER ASSISTANTS (GOLF RANGERS):
Individuals must be 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.  Reports to Golf Pro, coordinates starting times, assist players with pace of play and monitor cart traffic.  Varying hours weekdays and weekends.  Pay scale $7.25 to $8.25/hour.

ROSE CREEK GRILL STAFF:
Individuals, 21 years or older, must have good public relation skills and food service experience.  Must be able to work weekends and evenings.  Pay scale $8.50/hour plus tips.

MAINTENANCE POSITIONS:

BALLFIELD MAINTENANCE:
Individuals must be at least 18 years old with a valid drivers license. Responsibilities include operation of trucks, tractors, hand tools and other equipment while maintaining and upkeep of softball, baseball and soccer fields.  Must be able to work evenings and weekends also, May through September.  Pay scale starting at $8.00/hour and $10.00/hour for supervisors.

PARK MAINTENANCE MOWING CREW AND TRIM CREW:
Individuals must be 18 years old and have a valid drivers license.  Responsibilities include operation of small mowers, hand push mowers and string trimmers in the parks.  Pay scale; $8.00 and $8.50/hour for supervisors; $10.00/hour for equipment operators.

SOCCER FIELD MAINTENANCE:
Individual will be hired to concentrate on soccer field maintenance.  Responsibilities will include mowing, trimming and fertilizing soccer fields.  Individual must be 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Pay scale starting at $8.00/hour.

THARALDSON FIELD MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR:
Individual will work under the general supervision of the Athletic and Athletic/Facility Coordinator and Maintenance Supervisor to prepare and maintain athletic fields for league games and weekend tournaments at Tharaldson baseball complex.  Responsibilities include operation of a variety of equipment to maintain athletic fields and lawns.  Must utilize independent judgment in performing grounds maintenance activities and knowledge of and/or experience playing baseball a plus.  Pay scale $10.00/hour.

RECREATION POSITIONS:

ADAPTIVE PLAYTOWN STAFF:
Responsibilities include working with mentally/physically disabled children ages 5-20.  Other responsibilities include providing recreational activities such as:  swimming, trips, arts and crafts, etc.  Monday through Thursday, June 3-July 25.  Hourly wage $8.25 to $9.25/hour. 
Squirt Camp: Ages 5-6, hours 9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.; 12-20 hours per week.  
Junior Camp: Ages 7-9, hours 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.; 20-25 hours per week.
Teen Camp:  Ages 10-14, hours 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.; 20-25 hours per week.
Camp-A-Day Program:  Ages 15-20, hours 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.; 20-25 hours per week.

ADAPTIVE PLAYTOWN COORDINATORS:
Responsibilities include working with mentally/physically disabled individuals, leading each camp, lining up field trips, planning activities, training staff on each child’s needs.  Monday through Thursday, June 3-July 25.  Hourly wage $11.00 to $12.00/hour. 
Squirt Camp: Ages 5-6, hours 9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.; 12-20 hours per week.  
Junior Camp: Ages 7-9, hours 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.; 20-25 hours per week.
Teen Camp:  Ages 10-14, hours 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.; 20-25 hours per week.
Camp-A-Day Program:  Ages 15-20, hours 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.; 20-25 hours per week.

ADAPTIVE PLAYTOWN BUS DRIVER:
Individual must possess proper CDL license with passenger endorsement.  Responsibilities include transporting Adaptive Playtown Camp participants to and from the program as well as assisting with camp supervision.  Monday through Thursday, 8:00a.m. to 3:00p.m., June 3 through July 25.  Hourly rate $12.00 to $14.00/hour.

ADAPTIVE SOFTBALL UMPIRE: 
Umpire needed for a softball league for people with special needs.  Individual needs to have a good understanding of softball rules, ASA sanctioning not required, but desired.  Experience with the individuals with special needs a plus.  Games are Tuesday evenings, June through August.  Pay scale $30.00/game.

ADULT KICKBALL COORDINATOR:
Individual must possess good public relation skills as well as knowledge of kickball rules.  Person will be responsible for umpiring games and reporting scores to the Recreation Specialist.  Games are on Wednesday evenings from June through August.  Hourly wage $11.00 to $12.00/hour. 

ADULT COED SOFTBALL UMPIRES: 
Umpires needed for adult coed softball leagues.  Individuals must possess good public relation skills; complete knowledge of softball rules is mandatory.  Umpires must be ASA sanctioned.  Games Mon. thru Thurs.evenings starting May 13.  Pay scale $27.00/game.

OUTDOOR RECREATION INSTRUCTORS (UGO):
Individuals must be experienced with hunting and fishing skills. The individual must possess good teaching and public relations skills to work with both youth and adults.  Hours and rate of pay  varies by positions.  Pay scale $8.00 to $16.00/hour.

PLAYTOWN STAFF:
Responsibilities include supervising the playground center and providing a variety of activities such as:  recreational games, arts and crafts, and story time.  21 hours per week.  Monday-Thursday 9:00-11:30a.m.and 12:30-3:00p.m.  Dates are June 3-July 25.  Hourly wage $8.00 to $9.00/hour.

PLAYTOWN PLUS STAFF:
Responsibilities include supervising a recreational playground center at Jefferson Park or Clara Barton Park.  Also provide and develop various activities such as recreational games, story time, etc.  20 hours per week.  Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., June 3-July 25.  Hourly rate $8.00 to $9.00/hour.

SPORTS SAMPLER STAFF:
Individuals are needed to work with youth ages 4 to 6 years old.  Responsibilities include supervising recreational activities such as soccer, kickball, t-ball and other fun and recreational games for children of this age.  Individuals must possess good public relation skills with youth and adults.  Dates are early April through mid May Mondays through Thursdays (4:30pm-8:00pm).  Pay scale $8.25 to $9.25/hour.  We also offer a summer Sports Sampler June and July, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

SWIMMING POOLS:
Water Safety Instructors and Lifeguards: 
Individuals will be hired for our four outdoor swimming pools.  Individuals must possess current American Red Cross certification with previous experience preferred.  Lessons are Monday through Friday mornings from June to August.  General admission pool hours are afternoons and evenings both weekdays and weekends.  Individuals will be required to supervise children and adults and enforce safety procedures, rules and policies.  Water Safety Instructors-$9.50 to $10.50/hour; Lifeguards-$8.50 to $9.50/hour; Head Guard--$10.50 to $11.50/hour.

Pool Cashiers: 
Individuals must have good public relation skills.  Responsibilities include handling of money and season passes,  keeping accurate daily records, and general cleaning.  Pay scale $7.50 to $8.50/hour.  Individuals 15 years of age must obtain a work permit when hired to work in this position.

Locker Room Attendants: 
Responsibilities include supervising the locker rooms, handling swimmer’s bags and keeping the locker rooms in order.  Pay scale $7.50 to $8.50/hour.  Individuals 14 or 15 years of age must obtain a work permit when hired to work in this position.

YOUTH GOLF COORDINATOR:
Individual will supervise youth golf program, must have good knowledge and ability to play the game of golf.  Must be able to teach the game of golf.  Must possess good public relation and organizational skills.  Dates and times are 7:30am to 12:00 noon, Monday through Thursday and occasionally Fridays, June through mid August.  Pay scale $11.00 to $12.00/hr.

YOUTH GOLF INSTRUCTORS:
Individuals must have knowledge and ability to play the game of golf.  Must also be able to teach youth the game of golf.  Teaching and public relations skills are very important.  Monday through Thursday, and occasionally Fridays, June to mid-August.  Pay scale $8.25 to $9.25/hour. 

YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CAMP COACH:
Individuals are needed to instruct girls in grades 3-6.  Individuals must possess good public relations skills and a basic knowledge of Volleyball.  Camp dates are June 4-7.  Pay scale $8.25 to $9.25/hour.

Courts Plus Community Fitness is accepting applications for the following part-time positions:

FITNESS EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE STAFF
