How to register.

Spring Adult Volleyball

All volleyball teams will receive 14 matches of league play, plus tournament participation. A match consists of three games up to 20 points. Rally point scoring system will be used.

Location: Sports Arena
Dates: March - Mid May

Summer Sand Volleyball Leagues

The Fargo Park District will sponsor summer coed and women's sand volleyball leagues. Leagues will play eight or nine weeks. The leagues will play outdoors on sand courts. The games will be informal without officiating. Players cannot play on more than one league per night.

Location: Rabanus Sand Volleyball Courts (West of Schlossman Family YMCA)
Date: June-August

Fall Adult Volleyball

All volleyball teams will receive 14 matches of league play, plus tournament participation. A match consists of three games up to 20 points. (rally point system). All leagues are 6-player leagues.  NOTE: Tournaments may be played on a weekend.

Location: Sports Arena
Dates: August -October

Winter Adult Volleyball

VolleyballAll winter volleyball teams will receive 14 matches of league play, plus tournament participation. A match consists of three games up to 20 points. (Rally point system). Leagues will be scheduled pending availability of gyms and days teams are available to play.

Location: Area School Gyms *All schools are subject to change.
Dates: November-February

Court Rental

Volleyball Courts are available for practice on a first come, first serve basis. Rental times may be adjusted due to league play.

Dates: Saturdays and Sundays, March 13-Mid May
Times: 12:00-5:00 pm
Fee: $22.50/hour/court

Volleyball League Rules

Proper technique of bumping, spiking, setting and serving is used in these leagues. Leagues are divided A through F depending on skill level. USAV rules are used. The coed leagues are made up of one-half male team members and one-half female team members.

*The Recreation Department has the right to reclassify teams as deemed necessary.
