Fargo will be hosting the Coed State Softball Tournament on September 6 and 7 in the following divisions: Division I, Division II, Division III and Division IV. Classifications are determined according to point totals. Click here to print a registration form.

16" Coed Softball

Softball

The Fargo Park District is offering a coed 16-inch softball league. It is designed to be an easy wind down from the tense summer softball season. Games are played under the lights at Mickelson Field on Thursday evenings.

Location: Mickelson Field

Date: August 21 - Mid October

Fee: $267.00 per team, due upon registration

Registration Deadline: Thursday, August 7

Fall Men's Fast Pitch

The Fargo Park District is sponsoring a fall fast pitch league for men. This league is strictly recreational, low-key league. The purpose of the league is to introduce fast pitch softball to those who do not play during the summer leagues. The level of play will be below the summer fast pitch leagues. Lower and upper leagues will be played on Monday evenings.

Location: Mickelson Field

Date: September 8-Mid October

Fee: $267.00 per team, due upon registration

Registration Deadline: Monday, August 25

Coed Slow Pitch Softball League

The coed softball leagues use the NDASA coed rules.

Locations: Anderson Complex and Dill Hill

Times: 6:30 pm & 7:30 pm, 9:00 pm & 10:00 pm

Please Note: Majority of games will be played at Anderson at 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm

Dates: May 5 - August

Fees: 568.00/per team

Registration Deadline: Thursday, April 10

Registrations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis until the leagues are full.

Division III - Upper & Middle Coed Teams (Men’s & Women’s Rec 2 and above)
Division IV - Lower Coed Teams (Men’s & Women’s Rec 3 & 4)
Used softballs will be for sale after April 1st ($10.00 per dozen).

Slow Pitch Leagues

The Fargo Slow Pitch Association will offer Men’s, Women’s, Masters and Old Pro softball leagues. Whether you have a team or if you are an individual interested in playing, contact Reinhold Fleck at (218) 233-0441 for registration information.

Men’s & Women’s Amateur Slow Pitch Tournament

All Fargo slow pitch leagues will be played at Anderson, Lindenwood, Southwest, and NDSU beginning in May. The leagues play Monday through Thursday. Fargo slowpitch will host several tournaments.

Men’s Fast Pitch Summer League

Location: Mickelson Field

Tuesday night league begins mid-May. This league is to introduce any new teams and players to fast pitch softball. Pitchers are low level and assistance with pitchers or equipment available.
Team Entry Fee: $550.00
Thursday league starts mid-May. There is a higher level of competition and pitchers in this league.
Team Entry Fee: $900.00

Twin-City Church League

The 16-team slowpitch league plays Wednesday evenings. It is a closed sanctioned league that begins in May and runs through August. For further information call Scott Carlson at 371-3643.

ASA Softball Umpires

Individuals interested in umpiring NDASA Softball (slow pitch, fast pitch or coed) in 2007 are required to attend an NDASA Clinic. (Team captains are also encouraged to attend.)
